1.Touchscreen or traditional phone? Starting from Apple iPhone, the cell phone world is undergoing a user-interface revolution. The touchscreen phones are now much more popular and it is much easier to operate and search contacts. It is the definite trend of buying new phones. All our phones are touchscreen phones. Some of our phones come with both keyboard AND touchscreen operation. So you have both input methods

2. Smartphone or regular phone? Most modern phones have MP3/MP4 music and video capability. But only smartphones allow you to install application softwares such as windows WORD/EXCEL or GPS navigator and other games. So if you want maximum functionality extension, you should choose smartphones

3. Dual-band or tri-band or even Quad-band? Check the frequency of your phone with your carrier before u buy. All phones sold from other than cellular carriers are GSM phones, which operate on 4 frequency bands 850/900/1800/1900Mhz. In USA/Canada/Mexico, only 850/1900Mhz phones can work. In other areas, usually 900/1800Mhz phones work. Dual-band phones are usuallly 900/1800Mhz and cannot be used in north america. Triband and Quadband phones can be used worldwide. Some isolated areas can only work with 850Mhz such as Kentucky.

4. Unlocked phones? All phones sold from other than cellular carriers are UNLOCKED GSM phones. That means you can use with any GSM carrier if the frequency matches. Just insert your simcard and it can make calls immediately. However, one additional complexity is that if you want to access internet, you always need to do some setting to make it work with your specific carrier. Ask sellers technical support for instructions.
